Update on the Chicks and Ducklings

We have had our chicks and ducklings for a couple weeks now and my how they have grown. We have already had to upgrade their home to a bigger one because there was no way they would all be comfortable. The ducks have even gotten to play outside (whenever it isn't raining, been raining for days).

They have all doubled in size, the ducks have just about tripled. If this rain ever stops we will be building them a much more permanent spot out in the yard.

Playtime Outside

The sun peeked through today so we let the fowl play outside.

Here's an update on what we have done so far...

We bought a peach tree at the Savannah Home and Garden Show for $20. It is doing quite well and we have tiny peaches growing.

We also got a blueberry bush for $20 as well.

We made and planted our own raised strawberry bed...

And got our broccoli, potatoes, spinach, and radishes going.

I bought two rose bushes-one is regular red roses and the other is white climbing roses.

And I pruned our little tree. I don't know what kind of tree it is, but I've grown rather fond of it.

So we are getting into the full swing of things over here.
